The following rules are enforced for all attendees in the panel

  • Phones and music devices must be silenced
  • (Most of the time) Photos are allowed to be taken BUT NO FLASH photography is allowed (there may be times where the guest may wish to not allow photography)
  • Recording the panel is not allowed for attendees

One Question Per Turn
Attendees are allowed 1 (one) question and are not allowed to have multiple parts of one question. If the person wants to ask another question, they have to wait until they are called on again (if there is time still) to ask another question. This is to allow as many people possible to ask their question without someone taking up all of the panel time for their question.

If The Panel Is About A specific topic, The Question Must Be Related To That topic.
The audience and guests came to the panel for the topic that is attached to said panel. The Guests are prepared to talk about the topic that is related to the panel.

No Creepy or Personal Questions
Examples include
What street do they live on
What are your kids doing right now
What does (character) do in the bathroom
What does (character) think while on the toilet

No Voice Request
This is a union and possible studio copyright/trademark violation as a person asking someone to voice a character could be considered as hiring a person to do a role.
Example: Could you say [QUOTE OR LINE] in [this character voice]

No Relationship Questions (No Shipping Questions)
Examples Include
Would you ship [Character A] with [Character B]
Who would you ship
Would you have [Character A] be with [Character B]

No Negative Questions
Questions relating to hating a person/character/show creates a negative atmosphere and causes more drama than anything else.

No Gift Giving
If attendees want to give a gift to a guest, do so during their autograph sessions. Giving gifts during the panel derails the discussion in the panel.

No Philosophical Questions
Philosophical, (also known as thought experiments) are general time wasters that can be used for actual questions related to the topic of the panel.

No AI Questions
AI is a very debatable topic and is best to keep the topic out of the discussion right now (other than what SAG has publicly stated).

No Crypto/NFT questions
Discussions about these are technically financial advice and not related to the topic of the panel
